A woman in her early 50s, identified as Patricia Aidoo, was allegedly assaulted at Agona Nyarkrom in the Agona West District of the Central Region over claims of an affair with a married man.
According to reports, the victim was accused of being involved in a relationship with a married teacher in the community. Residents who were aware of the alleged affair informed the man’s wife.
The situation escalated when the victim allegedly visited the man at the school where he teaches. The wife is said to have rushed to the school, confronted the victim, and physically assaulted her.
Patricia Aidoo sustained injuries and was subsequently rushed to a hospital for treatment. The incident has been reported to the Agona Police, and the suspect has been arrested and is assisting with investigations.
