The Techiman Fire Station of the Ghana National Fire Service responded to a road traffic accident at Tuobodom along the Kintampo Highway on Friday, March 13, 2026, following a distress call received at about 4:42 p.m.
According to the Service, a rescue team was immediately dispatched to the scene, where a head-on collision had occurred between an Opel Astra with registration number GW-3932-S and a minibus with registration number GT-4595-11.
Firefighters rescued several injured victims from the wreckage and handed them over to the ambulance service, which transported them to the Holy Family Hospital for medical treatment.
The team also retrieved two bodies from the accident scene and handed them over to the Police for further investigations.
Authorities say the cause of the accident is currently under investigation.
