The Ghana Police Service has arrested a 40-year-old man in connection with a viral video showing the assault of a woman in Cape Coast.
In a statement, the Central Regional Police Command confirmed that the suspect, identified as Samuel Bills Acquah, was picked up following the circulation of the disturbing footage on social media.
According to the police, the arrest forms part of ongoing efforts to ensure accountability and uphold the law. The suspect is alleged to have assaulted a 30-year-old woman in the widely shared incident.
