The Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection (MoGCSP) has expressed profound sadness following a tragic road accident at Assin Edubiase in the Central Region, which resulted in the deaths of two pupils from Alice Elites Academy and left several others injured.
In an official statement issued by its Public Affairs Unit on June 3, 2026, the Ministry extended its deepest condolences to the bereaved families, the school community, and all individuals affected by the devastating incident. The Ministry also offered prayers for the swift and full recovery of the injured children.
“The loss of young lives under such circumstances is deeply distressing,” the statement read. “Our thoughts and prayers remain with the affected families, and we stand in solidarity with them during this difficult time.”
