Asante Kotoko Appoints New Eight-Member Communications Team

Asante Kotoko Sporting Club has officially announced the appointment of a new eight-member communications team, with immediate effect, as part of efforts to strengthen the club’s media operations and public engagement.

In a statement, the club explained that the move is aimed at enhancing match promotion activities and driving the implementation of the “Fabu Census” project, a key initiative designed to document, understand, and actively engage Kotoko’s extensive fan base.

The newly constituted team will operate under the direction and supervision of the club’s Director of Communications. The members include Seth Nii Darko, Adu Acheampong, George Forson, Anthony Twum Barima, Kwame Akosa, Prince Sackey Alimoh, Ransford Obeng Marfo, and Emmanuel Asiedu.

By establishing a dedicated communications unit, the Porcupine Warriors seek to modernize their outreach strategy and deepen fan engagement. The Fabu Census, in particular, is expected to play a central role in the club’s administrative and commercial planning by providing reliable data to support sponsorships and partnerships.

The development forms part of Asante Kotoko’s broader efforts to professionalize its off-field operations in line with its rich history and status as one of Africa’s most successful football clubs.
