President John Dramani Mahama has announced a series of strategic appointments to strengthen governance and enhance operational efficiency in the Office of the President. These appointments demonstrate his commitment to building a diverse team of experts to drive national development.
Key Appointments include:
- Presidential Adviser and Special Aide: Mrs. Joyce Bawah Mogtari, a seasoned lawyer and politician, will serve as Presidential Adviser and Special Aide to the President.
- Deputy Chief of Staff (Operations): Stanislav Xoese Dogbe, a prominent figure in Ghana’s media and communications landscape, has been appointed Deputy Chief of Staff (Operations).
- Deputy Chief of Staff (Administration): Nana Oye Bampoe Addo, a renowned human rights lawyer and former Minister for Gender, Children, and Social Protection, will serve as Deputy Chief of Staff (Administration).
- Presidential Adviser on the Economy: Seth Emmanuel Terkper, former Minister for Finance and Economic Planning, has been designated as Presidential Adviser on the Economy.
- Presidential Adviser for the National Anti-Corruption Programme: Professor Francis Dodoo, an accomplished academic and statistician, has been appointed Presidential Adviser for the National Anti-Corruption Programme.
- Special Envoy to the Alliance of Sahelian States: Larry Gbevlo-Lartey, with a background in security and intelligence, has been named Special Envoy to the Alliance of Sahelian States.
- Presidential Staffers: Nana Yaa Jantuah and Beatrice Annangfio have been appointed as Presidential Staffers.
- Deputy Presidential Spokesperson: Shamima Muslim, a respected journalist and media practitioner, has been appointed Deputy Presidential Spokesperson.
- Cabinet Secretary: Professor Kwaku Danso-Boafo, with an extensive background in public administration and academia, has been designated as Cabinet Secretary.
