Black Stars head coach, Otto Addo, has announced a 23-man squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Madagascar. The team features Arsenal midfielder Thomas Partey, who returns after a four-game absence due to injury.

Captain Jordan Ayew leads the squad, which includes three home-based players: Benjamin Asare (Accra Hearts of Oak), Kamaradini Mamudu (Medeama SC), and Razak Simpson (Nations FC). Partey, the deputy captain, brings valuable experience with over 50 caps since his debut in 2016.

Other notable inclusions are Kamal Deen Sulemana (Southampton FC), Jerry Afriyie (CD Lugo), and Christopher Bonsu Baah (KRC Genk).

The Black Stars will gather for a four-day training camp on March 17, 2025, ahead of their home match against Chad on March 21, 2025, and their away fixture against Madagascar on March 24, 2025.

Ghana currently sits second in Group I with nine points from four matches, tied with leaders Comoros. The team aims to secure crucial points in their World Cup qualifying campaign.
