Ken Signs Social Contract with Delegates, Pledges Job Consideration if Elected

New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential aspirant, Kennedy Agyapong, has signed what he describes as a “social contract” with party delegates, promising to prioritize them in job opportunities should he be elected.

Addressing delegates during his “Unity Tour” in Dormaa Central, Mr. Agyapong said the gesture was a demonstration of his commitment to reward loyalty and hard work within the Party.

According to him, delegates form the backbone of the NPP, and their contributions cannot be overlooked once he secures the mandate.
“Any government official who fails to prioritize party loyalists in appointments will be dismissed,” Mr. Agyapong warned.

He noted that many loyal members of the Party have, over the years, been sidelined when it came to employment opportunities and stressed that his administration would ensure fairness and inclusivity in job placement.

The signing of the “social contract” was witnessed by a section of enthusiastic delegates who welcomed the commitment with applause. Some described the move as unprecedented and a sign that the aspirant was serious about building a stronger bond with the grassroots.

Mr. Agyapong urged delegates to support his bid in the upcoming primaries, assuring them that his leadership would translate into tangible benefits for Party members and the country at large.

The NPP presidential primaries are scheduled for January 31, 2026, with aspirants intensifying their campaigns across the country.
