The Member of Parliament for Awutu Senya West and Deputy Minister for Works, Housing and Water Resources, Gizella Tetteh Abgotui, has reaffirmed her commitment to education and youth development by donating 200 metallic trunks and 200 mattresses to first-year Senior High School (SHS) students in her constituency.
The initiative, aimed at easing the financial pressure on parents as they prepare their wards for school, was also used as an opportunity to inspire the beneficiaries.

The MP urged the students to remain disciplined, determined, and focused on their academic journey, assuring them of her continuous support. She further announced that hardworking students would have the chance to access competitive scholarship packages.
The MP’s intervention follows her earlier efforts to support education in the area, including securing scholarships for 53 tertiary students in Awutu Senya West.
Also addressing the students was the District Chief Executive, Kalala Eghan, who delivered an inspiring message, encouraging the youth to take full advantage of the support and make their communities proud through academic excellence and good conduct.

The donation forms part of the MP’s broader vision of promoting education and human capital development in Awutu Senya West, demonstrating her continued dedication to building a brighter future for the constituency.
