Following the conclusion of the hearing at Westminster Magistrates’ Court, the prosecution, led by Jocelyn Ledward KC, outlined the six charges filed against Ghanaian midfielder Thomas Partey. The charges span incidents allegedly involving three women between 2021 and 2022.
Charge 1:
Alleged anal rape of Complainant 1 between April and May 2021. She claims that while engaging in consensual vaginal sex, Partey penetrated her anally without consent. The incident was reported in February 2022, leading to Partey’s arrest and interview in July 2022.

Charge 2:
Alleged repeated anal rape of Complainant 1 between April and June 2021. She alleges non-consensual anal penetration on at least four occasions. Partey was voluntarily interviewed regarding this in November 2024.
Charge 3:
Alleged vaginal rape of Complainant 2 in December 2021. She claims she declined sex, but Partey proceeded to penetrate her without consent. The report was made in February 2025, with a voluntary interview conducted in March 2025.
Charge 4:
Alleged anal rape of Complainant 2 in February 2022. She alleges Partey requested anal sex, which she refused, but he proceeded regardless. The complaint was filed in September 2022, though it was not raised during his March 2025 interview.
Charge 5:
Alleged vaginal rape of Complainant 2 in Marbella, Spain, in June 2022. She reported the alleged incident, and Partey was interviewed about it in July 2022.

Charge 6:
Alleged sexual assault of Complainant 3 in February 2022. She claims that while visiting Partey’s residence, he lay on top of her, attempted to kiss her, and inappropriately touched her over her clothing without consent. She said she pushed him off after a few minutes. Partey was interviewed in February 2023.
Partey has denied all allegations through his legal team. He remains on conditional bail and is expected to reappear in court on September 2, 2025, at the Old Bailey.
