President John Dramani Mahama has unveiled a new team of ministerial nominees, showcasing his vision for governance.
Key Ministerial Nominees:
- Minister of Education: Haruna Iddrisu, a seasoned politician and former Minority Leader in Parliament, is set to lead the Education Ministry.

- Minister of Roads and Highways: Governs Kwame Agbodza will oversee the Roads and Highways Ministry, a critical sector for infrastructure development and national connectivity.

- Minister for Food and Agriculture: Eric Opoku, with his extensive experience in rural development, has been nominated to boost food security and support farmers.

- Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment: Opare Addo, NDC Youth Organiser, will head the newly created ministry, focusing on youth-focused policies and programs to address unemployment and foster innovation.

- Minister for Trade and Agribusiness: Elizabeth Ofosu Agyare will strengthen Ghana’s trade relations and promote agribusiness as a key driver of economic growth.

- Minister of Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs: Ahmed Ibrahim will lead this ministry, while Emelia Arthur will head the Ministry of Fisheries and Aquaculture.

These nominees are expected to undergo vetting by Parliament in the coming weeks.
