Hearts of Oak broke new grounds at the Aliu Mahama Stadium in Tamale against Karela United.
History was on the side of both teams to get something positive from the crunch encounter as Karela United had never lost a home head to head while Hearts of Oak had not also seen defeat in a Premier League game played on 17th November since 1985.
Hamza Isaah broke the deadlock on the second minute of the game, making it four goals in his last three games against the home side.
This win take the 21 time champions to 4th on the table with 18 points, leaving Karela United on 18th with just nine points after eleven games.
Hearts of Oak will host struggling Nsoatreman at home in their next game whereas Karela United will travel to play Karim Zito’s Dreams FC.
Hearts of Oak all the way.
